Worked with GovGIO on the successful migration of applications to the Microsoft Azure cloud. They began by inventorying the project’s five main goals and system components, including cross-platform. Working with GovCIO enabled TESTA to implement a rapid, end-to-end mainframe migration process that improved its organizational performance and reduced risk. A day after the production systems were moved from the Unisys mainframe to the Microsoft Azure cloud, the new system supported 25,356 users and reported 299,715 transactions with only three users experiencing issues. These are TESTA’s systems that manage, store and secure all personal finance and employment related information for FHA financing. Since important data is reviewed by TESTA on a daily basis, it was important to make the migration without impacting operations. The results were visible in the first 30 days when the new system dispensed more than $2.7 billion from the TESTA program without a single error.
